Welcome Cubs Fans!

This blog will discuss Topps Stadium Club Sets and the baseball card collecting hobby, with a focus on the Chicago Cubs. Contrary to vintage baseball cards, the majority of modern cards are affordable. The various sets will be considerably simpler to obtain. In 1991, the first set was unveiled as a posh reaction to the upscale Upper Deck. The collection was discontinued in 2003; however, Topps did make a comeback with a Stadium Club set in 2008. Topps started releasing the series yearly in 2014, albeit with lower-quality items this time.

1993 Cubs Stadium Club Factory Sealed Set

Number of Cards

This 30-card 1993 Cubs Stadium Club set includes 30 Cubs players.

Size of Cards

The size of the cards are standard-size 2 ½ x 3 ½

Basic Features

1993 Stadium Club Team Sets were a 30-card factory sealed with two gold stickers, one with the Stadium Club logo and the other with the team's logo.

This set differs significantly from the Stadium Club regular issue from 1993. The fronts have different photos from the standard set, in addition to a vertically oriented green stripe on the right side. On the back, players from the 1992 Cubs are shown in portrait mode with their standard bios and 1992 statistics, including career data. It wouldn't be Stadium Club without the Stadium Club stamp. In my opinion, this set is preferable to the 1993 regular issue.

The 300-card base set consists of players from the past and present. With the images being the main design element, everything else is kept minimal. This includes a full-bleed layout and outlined text that blends into the overall presentation.
