Welcome Cubs Fans!

This blog will discuss Topps Stadium Club Sets and the baseball card collecting hobby, with a focus on the Chicago Cubs. Contrary to vintage baseball cards, the majority of modern cards are affordable. The various sets will be considerably simpler to obtain. In 1991, the first set was unveiled as a posh reaction to the upscale Upper Deck. The collection was discontinued in 2003; however, Topps did make a comeback with a Stadium Club set in 2008. Topps started releasing the series yearly in 2014, albeit with lower-quality items this time.

1910 E98 "Anonymous Set of 30" Cubs Checklist

Today, I am excited to introduce something different on this blog. I am showcasing some vintage pre-war cards from the iconic Cubs teams of yesteryears. These cards are highly sought after and are considered rare gems, making them a valuable addition to any collection. If you are considering adding these cards to your collection, ensure they have been authenticated and graded for their quality.

Number of Cards

30 cards which includes 5 Cubs players.

Size of Cards

The size of the cards are 1 1/2" by 2 3/4"

Basic Features

The cards in this set were produced by an unidentified manufacturer during the early 1900s. They bear a resemblance to the Standard Caramel cards from that time period, featuring a colorized player image with a white border. The player's name and team city are printed in black ink at the bottom. Each card in the set comes with a background color of either red, blue, orange, or green. On the back of each card, there is a checklist of the 30 subjects in the set printed in brown ink.
